Compelling, Intriguing & Intense!! A Fascinating & Exciting Read!!! I Loved It!!!I generally love the Mitch Rapp series, but this one seemed really rough. The language was significantly more course and the characters just felt less defined. It is almost as though the author rushed this one. I saw this same degradation of characters in the Tom Clancy books.
Not at all his best work and Im a big fan. However, Im not a fan of torture, kidnapping and weasly political hacks that unfortunately comprise most of this story. Vince Flynn can write better than this as he has in the past. It saddens me to rate this only 4 of 10 stars but thats what it is.
This is by far the worst of the Mitch Rapp books. There is always some level of unbelievability to these stories but this one is really out there. Mitch Rapp (nearly) single-handedly saves the day again and breaks all of the rules getting there...blah blah blah. This is a good fast read on an airplane ride when you don't want to think.

I really like it when Mitch has to go off the books to get things done. What was better this time around was that he had support where he needed it and he was going after someone who was important to him. You could tell that Mitch was going to stop at nothing and so did a few key people who helped him. Mitch is not anyone who I would want on my bad side. And quite frankly after the choice that Kennedy made at the end, neither is she.
