A warrior scarred... A descendant of Diana... When two worlds collide... Atlantis is unmasked.

Alexios survived two years of unspeakable torture at the hands of a vampire goddess. Now he's been ordered to team up with a beautiful warrior and take on the most dangerous mission of his life: to retrieve the Vampire's Bane. Without it, Atlantis can't ascend to the surface and take its rightful place in the world. But when evil threatens, will Alexios be led by duty-or his heart?

Grace is part of the rebellion against the vampires and shape-shifters trying to take over her world. She is deadly with her bow, because when she takes aim, she never misses her target. But suddenly she's focused on a damaged Atlantean warrior who sees her as a weapon, not as a woman. When thousands of lives are on the line, will passion overrule, or will her aim be true?

Weigh Up Appertaining To Books Atlantis Unmasked (Warriors Of Poseidon #4)
I love the books, but this one seems to either go to fast, or was too predictable. I felt like Grace was built up to be this strong warrior woman, but she barely fought. Alexios and Grace are a great pairing, but bringing in Fae kind of added to the clutter of this book. I was happy to hear of the healthy birth of Aiden, and happy that another baby is now on the way. I was saddened that there wasn't a Quinn/Alaric scene in this book... I hope to read more about them maybe in the next book, and I

evidently he has some kind of super spidey fortress of stupitude or something.""call me goldilocks again and you'll find that my boot fits your ass juuuust riiiiiight.

Alexios has been through a lot. He was held prisoner and tortured by Anubisa, the Goddess. He learned to get pleasure out of pain and wonders if he will ever be fit to love normally.In comes Grace; independent and strong, yet caring. She's used to being alone and wants to keep it that way.When these two meet, they go against all their carefully constructed rules realizing they don't have to be alone.I liked the fact that Alexios got his much deserved happily-ever-after.I did notice that the plot

Atlantis Unmasked is the fourth book in Alyssa Days Warriors of the Poseidon series. Going into this book, I had not expected this story to be as enjoyable as the previous three books in this series. However, I was totally surprisedas I ended up really loving this book. Atlantis Unmasked is the story of Alexios and Grace, and wheras, this was the same concept of the Warriors fighting off the vampires, finding the jewels that will save Atlantis, the love between the them is different then

Setting: St. Louis/regional headquarters/University Hospital emergency room; waters of the Atlantic Ocean, just off coast of St Augustine, Florida/Fort Castillo de San Marcos - abandoned fort (revolutionary times used to execute vampires); Yellowstone National Park and Wolf Sanctuary; Atlantis / palace / royal suite for birth of prince son / war room; Washington DC,; Bunnery Restaurant, St Augustine (where Alexios learns he loves pancakes); Daytona Beach, Florida / Vonoss mansion;Theme: life;

If GR allowed 1/2 stars I'd put it up as 4.5 - not because it wasn't a good book but because some of the focus to the story line was lost by the author doing setup for later books [notably Alaric and Quinn plus the whole Fae/birth gift thing:]. The climactic scenes with the invasion of the head vamp's house were a little muddied. You simply didn't feel the sense of resolution you did in earlier books.On the plus side, Alexios is a great character. The action was excellent. Grace was acceptable

Fun... I'm taking a break from this series though, they are all starting to feel the same.
