Fantasy fans will want to add 'Crossroads the Dominion of Four'' by C. Toni Graham to their bookshelf. It is so refreshing to read a fantasy novel, where the story is not clogged up, with the standard love story. You know the one, damsel in distress who does not know her own potential until a mysterious guy swoops in to save her. It is so outdated, and I am so pleased that Graham has stuck to gripping action, and includes teenage girls that are just as strong and brave as their male companions.
If you are looking for magic and a battle between forces of good and evil, try this one out! Four teenagers who were chosen by their magical ancestries from our world: Seneca, Shayna, Jake, and Conner must help the Otherworld (a world of fantastical creatures and magic) before an evil and ancient female druid by the name of Brigara takes over with her minions and wickedness. Crossroads and the Dominion of Four is a good continuation of the Crossroads series. The story kept me hooked the entire time and there was just enough action to keep me intrigued. However, an important scene was missing, chapters were too long, and the multiple POVs in a single chapter really did not sit well with me. I found it hard to focus because of that. I enjoyed reading about Seneca, Shayna, Jake, and Conners journey in the Otherworld and I wonder what will happen next.To see my full
