Continuing on my Klassen splurge...all 400 pages in about 24 hours! It's very hard to put down one of her books. This one was so enjoyable, and the historical research was great. And I loved Margaret/Nora and the hero so much!This book was a slow start for me. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish it . I am glad I persevered because it was a really great book.

Appearances can be quite deceiving, and that is certainly true for Miss Macy as she flees one home disguised as a servant in order to try and save her vast inheritance. Her trip is complicated though as she is hired as a servant in the home or men she has rejected and who she now gets to see are not what she thought at all.
