Darke (Septimus Heap #6)
Written with Angie Sage's characteristic humor, Septimus Heap, Book Six: Darke is a compelling fantasy adventure filled with surprises, thrills, and laugh-out-loud moments. Readers will revel in the action-packed story as they realize the wisdom of Magyk--that all things are meant to be part of a living whole.
Another great book in the series by Angie Sage. Septimus, along with his friends, has to overcome obstacles and face fears.I'm a big book listener as opposed to a book reader. That's how I started off on this series. It was definitely different reading a Septimus book on my own, but it was worth it. I'd recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed previous books in the series. Thanks for the giveaway! Loved being one of the first to read your book!
Can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!***************Well. I finised it, and I'm disappointed. Not that the story was disappointing. It was typical Septimus Heap. Septimus, now fourteen, must undergo his Darke Week, and what he wants to do is rescue accidentally-Banished ghost, Alther Mella, from the Darke Halls. But pretty soon, an old menace finally makes his move; Merrin Merredith has beseiged the Castle with a Darke Domaine, trapping everyone in a giant pool of suffocating Darke Magyk. Exciting
As Septimus and his sister, Princess Jenna, turn fourteen, all is not well in the city of The Castle. Jenna discovers something Darke in the palace attic--but no one will believe her. Septimus is facing the most challenging week of his apprenticeship, when he has to establish a connection with Darknesse and try to rescue a ghost that his mentor accidentally banished to the Darke realm, and he's a bit preoccupied. Simon Heap, trying to repent from turning Darke some years ago, is abruptly and
I like this book, #6 in the Septimus Heap series. I like Septimus Heap. I like the crazy concoction of characters that inhabit the Castle and the the world surrounding it. I like the intricacy of the plot and multiple steps required to solve the problem of the story, which in this book is a spreading fog of Darknesse spurred on by that trouble-making apprentice of the deceased Dom Daniel. I like how the characters evolve and change and new things happen to them. However, I think I might be

Having read the first five books of the series earnestly, it was for quite some time that I have been waiting for Darke to come out.I wouldnt say that the long wait was a wasted effort; though the book fell short of expectations. At least in my case.In this volume, Merrin Meredith, apprentice to necromancer Domadaniel and now wearing his two faced ring has decided upon himself to setup a Darke Domaine in the castle and overcome even the Wizard Tower, with the help of his faithful THINGS. For the last 5 years the newest book has come out just before my birthday so my husband knows just what to get me. Funny thing is most years I forget all about it and then I am so excited for my book. I get such a kick out of this series. Each time I get a new book I reread all the books in the series before reading the newest one.The series has Harry Potter like elements with magic and wizards and a young male hero but is not so dark and a very different writing style. There isn't really oneAnother great book in the series by Angie Sage. Septimus, along with his friends, has to overcome obstacles and face fears.I'm a big book listener as opposed to a book reader.
