This book was simply-I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier is the story of Ryan Gracin and Phillip Grabowski- but to be honest it wasn't just about them. It was about a group of men fighting for their country.I loved reading their emails. Reading their hardships and fears. It also wasn't just a story about romance. It was a story about friendship, family, and loyalty. This book was steamy, homourous, and emotional. This is a book I would recommend to EVERYONE. It's a story that we can ALL learn somethingfun, and mildly weepy.also pretty funny.*crickets chirping*
I have never heard of this author and can't find anything else by her but if I could give this book 7 stars, I would. It was hot, it was emotional, it was funny. I laughed and cried as I journeyed with this bunch through five-plus years of their lives in the US Army.I loved every man in this book even though at the start, I wasn't quite sure I would even like Ryan. 4 Stars!I loved the storyline, the ideas and world the author created, adored the men, these wonderful brothers in arms, and took all the lessons learned to heart. So, why only 4 stars? At times the writing was basic at best. It didnt flow as well as it could have, the writing seemed a bit choppy.
