Although this book has the feel of an epilogue or afterword, I still enjoyed it. It felt a little crowded with new characters & story lines but still a n enjoyable read.Call to our purpose and to do the right thingUplifting, inspirational book calling us to find our purpose in Christ and commit to it. Shows characters who exhibit the best and the worst character traits and their struggles to do the right thing. Highly motivational and reassuring that what the evil one meant for evil can be made into a blessing by our mighty Lord God.
What can I say, I just like all Bodie Thoene's stuff. I can't call it great literature, but great stories for rest and relaxation, it helps to have read the first 6, which like I said I reread for fun like watching TV reruns. Of course only rare birds reread books like I do. Several times in my sordid past I had to place a complete moriatorium on reading a book that was new until I had completed my Continuing Education for Pediatrics. Those were the little baby years and I could not allow myself
Not to be missed
The worst in the series thus far. It seemed like the writing quality went way down--the letter writing seemed like a cop-out way to write the story without actually writing anything, and dang! everyone sure falls in love fast. It seems like the books in this series are very hit or miss with me.
I havent read all of this series but while looking at books by these authors at my library this was one of the ones on the shelf and I had not read. It did not disappoint as it takes you into the misery of the people who were living in Poland and surrounding areas during World War!! . I cried for the people with their suffering looking for help and none seem to be coming. This was before England entered the war although there were rumors that perhaps they would take some action. As in all wars
Im surprised that this book was so well-written. This is by far the best book in the series, in my opinion. Theres less political writing and more action and drama. The way Bodie Thoene has characters interact with one another is beautiful. I dont want to give away spoilers, but there is a different format that some characters communicate compared to the previous books.
