Some of the book reminded me of living in a small town where you cant avoid people you dated years ago, have co-workers who are not your friends, think people were friends when they were drug buddies, where there arent many options for employment, and everyone is kinda hanging around after school (although in my situation it was college and not high school that brought this stagnation).
