Left Behind Series Gift Set (Left Behind #1-6)
Reading this series of books made my heart rush me to God. How did Tim Lahaye know all those years ago what was going to happen now? It is as if he went in a time machine, visited 2000-2012 and then went back and wrote about it.Powerful! Mind Blowing!!If you believe in God, and the devil and have accepted Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior I IMPLORE you to read at least 3 of these books, it will change your life and you will find yourself wanting to read and own at least 10 of them.
Propaganda bullshit.
I have read the entire series more than once over the years. I like the first half of the series more than the last, and I love the message that Christ is the only way to eternal life. Thats the reason Ive read the series more than once. I love the message and reading stories, even fictional, of people turning to Christ. However, toward the end, especially in Glorious Appearing, there was a lot of scripture quoting. Some of that is needed, sure. But Tsion or Chaim bursting into two-page scripture

Relation To Books Left Behind Series Gift Set (Left Behind #1-6)
I thoroughly enjoyed the series -- some volumes more than others -- so I felt the need to rate each one individually, but summarize here. I do believe that: (1) The series "dragged" on much longer than it needed to; the same story could have been covered in, perhaps, eight books with fewer characters. Toward the end I felt as though the profit motive may have overwhelmed the authors. (2) While some of the better scenes are downright chilling, there is also a bevy of superfluous and unrealistic dialogue (ie. some of the conversations in heaven seemed ridiculous -- this is heaven, not the post office). (3) Overall, I think the authors included too many unrealistic character traits among the central characters -- the pilot who almost cheats on his wife, the international news reporter who is a virgin at thirty. I would have preferred to see more "sinners" than saints, and I think it would have made the heartbroken moments deeper. Christians have messy, upended, broken lives just like everyone else, and maybe the more that is communicated the more people will be open to Christ. As C.S. Lewis pointed out, He cannot force anyone, he can only woo.Mention Books In Favor Of Left Behind Series Gift Set (Left Behind #1-6)

I don't have the gift set but I do have all the books and this is one of the best series I've ever read. Once I picked them up I couldn't put them down. It's almost exactly how I picture the end times. It was very easy for me to put faces with the characters in my mind and to imagine everything they went through. Every year I say I'm going to re-read this series but I know I'll want to read them all straight through again and I've just not had time.Reading this series of books made my heart rush me to God.
